I have the "Tell websites I do not want to be tracked" checked (had this before as well). But before, I was still able to see the cookies from every site I've been too. Now only google's cookies show up even though I've been to other sites and able to log in to them

The "Show Cookies" dialog has a filter box at the top which can be used to limit the sites shown in the list. However, if that is blank, you should see everything.

If you right-click this page, choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies" do you see the mozilla.org cookies? Do those same cookies show up in the dialog in Options?

mozilla.org cookies doesn't show up in that dialog. There are no cookies in there except google..

The pass few days I've installed/reinstalled Apache webserver and skype. Do you think those are the problem?

I don't think Apache should have any effect. The Skype add-on has created some odd issues over the years. Try disabling it (as well as any other nonessential extensions) here and then restart Firefox and see whether that makes any difference:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Add-ons > Extensions category

it's the orange FireFox button browser.

I didn't install the Skype add-on just the application from the Skype website. If I remember correctly, this happened before I installed skype but maybe after apache. I don't know if it happened a few days before I installed apache or not because I didn't try to remove the cookies during those days.

But definitely, there were cookies from other sites in that dialog box before.

I still suggest disabling the extensions and seeing whether that makes any difference.

I am having the exact same problem on Mac OS 10.6.8.

The problem did not start until I upgraded to Firefox 19.0.

Very frustrating so I am current;y using another browser.

Hi there. I am having a similar problem.

Tools > Options > Privacy > Show Cookies shows me a blank list, even when I know I have cookies (ie, I am remaining logged in to websites).

This has only occurred since updating to Firefox 19.0.

I clean-reinstalled 19.0 (uninstalled all extensions, uninstalled Firefox, cleared the Mozilla appdata folder), but the problem persists. I have tried the Firefox 22.0 beta. The problem still exists there.

I have reinstalled 18.0.2. The cookies are displayed correctly again. If I allow an automatic update to 19.0, the problem comes back.

If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.

Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

You can inspect and manage the permissions for all domains on the about:permissions page.

This does not fix the problem.

Hi nor92, if you open about:permissions and filter on mozilla, does support.mozilla.org show any cookies set? If it says cookies are set, are they visible in Manage Cookies?

more options

No cookies are visible when using private browsing mode even when cookies are set.

This was never a problem until I upgraded to 19.0 so it seems to me this os some sort of bug with the latest version. How to I go back to a previous version.

I am using Mac OS 10.6.8.

Hi nor92,

No cookies are visible when using private browsing mode even when cookies are set.

Yes, I can confirm that. In Firefox 19, Private Browsing mode makes cookies invisible through the user interface. (I tested using a new, uncustomized profile and a site I did not visit in regular browsing mode.)

I wonder whether it affects cookie management add-ons? Googling... It appears that the Cookies Manager+ add-on has the same issue: Completely broken in private mode on Firefox 19.0.

Further research is required....

With respect to Firefox 18.0.2, you can follow the link in this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-older-version-of-firefox

Hi masterori and ffbugreport, were you both also checking the list while in Private Browsing mode, or were you missing cookies in regular browsing mode?

more options

The "Web Developer > Developer Toolbar" toolbar is still able to show the cookies in Private Browsing mode via the "cookies list" command.

I'm using private browsing. Is that the problem?

Because I restored my computer to an earlier date and it was working for a few days until just now (2/27). I don't remember firefox updating... But yes, my current version is 19.0

more options

Yes, there has been a change in the way cookies are handled and if Private Browsing mode is selected then you do not see cookies in the cookie manager. I don't know if they intend to fix this in a future version.
