You can set the Location bar autocomplete feature to suggest "Nothing" in the Firefox Options window - Privacy panel. See this article for details:
- Address bar autocomplete suggestions in Firefox
under "How can I control what results the location bar shows me?"

P.S. To turn off the Google search from the address bar, see this article:
- Search the web from the Address Bar under "Turning off the Internet Keyword search"
You can set the keyword.enabled pref to false on the about:config page.
