Is this for a webmail site such as Gmail, Yahoo! mail, or Windows Live Mail (Hotmail)? Each has slightly different settings to explore. If you can't find it, which service are you using?

Or is this for an account you access in Thunderbird?

You should be able to change your forwarding setting in Gmail here:

"Gear button" > Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP
