Since updating to FF AOL 9.0.1 startup of FF is very slow.

OS Windows 7 ISP AOL Dial up

My old version of FF would start up promptly after double clicking it. Since updating to FF AOL 9.0.1, it takes 30 to 40 seconds.

Try with Firefox restarted in safe mode. If that doesn't help, test with a new profile (Windows+R > firefox.exe -P).
