When I try to scroll down to find a recently or frequently visited website, the browser will not allow me to do so. WHat is the issue?

Which button are you trying to click?

Is that a button on the Bookmarks Toolbar or the location bar drop down list or a drop down list on a web page?

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
