why is firefox software updater licence is expired

I was prompted to download an update from 'firefox software updater'. I checked the details and found that the license was out of date (31/10/11). What do I do. cheers Dave

Where were you trying to download this from. Please go to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ and download the latest release (8.0.1)
