When I go to certain web sites ( like cricinfo), I get redirected to a 123 find page. I don't have this problem with IE and when I re-install firefox, the problem re-appears

If I quit firefox, and then restart it and access the page, I can go to the web site. Then very quickly, the 123 find program takes over. This occurs at home, I don't have all the info here.

The problem is finally solved by running malwarebytes. I deleted and re-installed firfox and the problem re-appeared. This happened because the trojan horse was in the plugins that was not removed when firefox was deleted. After the trojan horse was removed by malwarebytes, the problem did not occur again.

I have solved the problem by deleting all cookies.

Tools>Options Then in Privacy>Show cookies, I have chosen "Remove all cookies"

(This is a translation from the Italian version, so maybe the actual English commands could be slightly different).

I noticed also that stopping the cricinfo page from a complete upload did stop the redirection, that's why I guessed it was from the cookies
