there is no adddress ( www. _ _ _) window at the top of the page, only a search window

I just loaded the currant Firefox a few days ago and every thing loaded fine. The next day I went to use it, and when I opened it up it does not have a address bar at the top of the page,only a search box. Also there is no back button.

If you are in Full Screen mode ("F11"), you will have to press it again (it toggles on.off(.

If you don't want to leave Full Screen mode, you have other choices

  1. move the cursor up to the top of the window
  2. use "Ctrl+L" to show the Location Bar
  3. use "At" to show toolbars temporarily, if in full screen mode it may just add the location bar temporarily.
