Firefox windows close but says it is still running.

At times when I close Firefox then try to reopen it, I get a window saying there is another Firefox running close Firefox or restart the computer. (or something like that.) I go to task manager and nothing is there, so I have to restart. I am using Firefox 8.0 running Vista 32bit I have done full wipe and reinstall even upgraded from 7 to 8 and the problem came back. Try to wait a bit longer before reopening Firefox to give Firefox more time to close completely.

Try to use "Firefox/File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the title bar.

Try to use "Firefox/File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the title bar.
