Click on a link in Outlook 03 message, the "locate link browser" dialogue pops up until I cancel it. The only info on the web is for xp, and the tab they tell you to use does not exist in Windows 7. Tried suggested reg edits for Vista, they don't work.

Your site is stupid. I cannot find my question asked before and it keeps limiting my question until I can't ask it.

This is what does not work, its the same instructions I am referring to in my question, if you noticed. I tried all that but reinstalling, which I will try now. (Update: that did not work either). There is no "file types" tab in Windows 7, and I did the registry edits, nothing worked. This is a tired old answer from years ago, and simply does not work with the newer versions of the OS and Firefox. Thanks for trying, but I searched before I posted my question. This only started with Firefox 7 upgrade.

Did you find any DDE keys in the registry that were mentioned in the KB article?

You can try to redo the default browser and let IE become the default browser.
Then let Firefox try again to see if it goes better this time.
