For some reason Firefox was lost onpc and I am trying to load it from my laptop;it wont work
For some reason I don't know Firefox was lost on my pc. I am trying to load Firefox from my laptop to the pc. I get the message Cannot read .ini file. Can you help me?

If you have accidentally uninstalled firefox then re-install it. If you are lucky and did not specifically delete or opt to remove personal settings you may still have retained passwords an bookmarks etc.
You should be able to download using Internet Explorer. Alternatively download the install file to the laptop, transfer it, on a memory stick, or by any other method to the other pc and then run the install.
Unfortunately I am having the same problem with Internet exxplorer
It is not a good idea to uninstall IE on a windows machine, it tends to be required for security updates to the OS etc. Whatever your problem it may be a bit deeper than just a problem with Firefox.
Anymore details about Firefox being 'lost'. Try searching for the Firefox main program file. firefox.exe are you able to find that. It may just be a shortcut or icon missing, try using run -> firefox (I think that is available still on Win 7)
What are the problems with IE ?
