The instructions for setting a blank homepage aren't working in 6.0.2 because you can't click-and-drag the blank-page icon - what do I do?

Subject line pretty much sums it up. The instructions for setting a blank homepage in the Troubleshooting section tell you to "...open a new tab. Click the icon to the left of the web address, drag it to the Home button, and release."

but when I try to click and drag the little blank-page icon it won't drag. The directions work fine for non-blank webpages.

Is there another way to do this? (I'm running windows 7 on a Dell laptop. 32-bit).

thanks.

  1. Tools ("Alt+T") > Options > General >
  2. Right at the top -- When Firefox Starts > Show a blank page
