Cannot install updates

I receive notices that updates cannot be installed because I do not have the required permissions. This is a private computer and I am the only user, so I have all admin rights.

You might need to move Firefox to the trash, then download and install it again from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html (deleting and uninstalling Firefox will not erase your bookmarks and settings). For more details, see:
