I just cllicked somewhere in Firefox, and all my icons I had saved in the toolball were gone...?
As far as I know, I did nothing else...just clicked somewhere without realizing it. It might have been in gmail...I was just getting started.

If the Bookmarks Toolbar is completely empty(icons and text) -
Right Click on Toolbar Space>Customize>Look in the Customize Box for an entry with a name like Bookmarks Toolbar>Drag it to the toolbar>Done. Bookmarks should re-appear.
Check that the Bookmarks Toolbar is visible and that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is still placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar.
If the menu bar is hidden then press F10 or hold down the Alt key, that should make the "Menu Bar" appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
