All the tabs are gone -- bookmarks, view, print, history, options, help, file, gmail, everything. They just disappeared. How do I get them back?

There are NO tabs at the top except for the the search box on the right and a place to open different pages -- IF I hold the mouse there. As soon as I move the mouse, they are gone, too. And I can't see any of the things at the bottom of the screen that I always used to see (icons for email, anti-virus, volume, show desktop, etc.) even if I do hold the mouse there. I have to minimize Firefox. I just turned on my computer this morning and that's what I had. I restarted and it was still the same. Please help.

Chosen solution

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.

Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.

Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"

What i did was held The "Alt" key and the "F" key together...then they came back i thought that was it, but it wasn't, whenever i clicked the page they would disappear...so i clicked "Alt" and "F" again, then i went to "view", and clicked "Toolbars" (you will see that the things that are showing up on the screen have a check mark next to them, if they do not appear to be there then it will not have a check mark) after that i saw that "Menu bar" had no check mark next to it, so i clicked it then a check mark appeared...so i tested it...and now they are there!

I'm new to this forum, and it looks like I was supposed to say what solved my problem, not just say thank you.  :) It was hitting the F11 key. Apparently, I had inadvertently done something to get into full screen mode. Don't know how or when. So when I hit F11 everything came back the way it always was. Thank you again!

I had this problem and struggled for ages trying to get my Tabs back. Eventually all I did was to exit Firefox, then come back - and voila, all the tabbed sites were there again! Easy peasy ...
