no more button for immediate search history?
I am not too keen on the new Firefox. I shouldn't have to get a PhD for operating an internet search site. and while I am ranting; the colour choice of grey and black for resting tabs is really hard on the eyes.
However, there used to be a helpful box next to the go forward (BTW it should say 'go forward one page' not forwards) and go back a page button where you could see your last 10 or so pages. When firefox got stuck you could always click there on a page to go back. This short-cut button is now missing. DANG! I don't want to have to click and search through my history for 3 pages before and upset my toolbar set-up. Waste of my time. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks

In Firefox 4, you can right click on the Back or Forward buttons to see the list of recent pages that you have visited.

I don't fully understand your problem regarding seeing last 10 pages but I will try.
Does right clicking on the Back or Forward button solve your problem?
Sorry if I was confusing: I refer of course to the "Recent Pages" little downward arrow that used to be right next to forward and back pages. This enabled one to jump to an earlier pages visited rather than haveing to click though a number of pages backward.
It is on Firefox 3 and still on IE... the attached image is for illustration only.
Right-click the unified Back / Forward button to see Back / Forward history.

thanks - that seems to do the trick - though (old-fashioned as I am) I preferred the little arrow
No - that does NOT work.
Nope. Doesn't work
Nothing happens when I right-click. This is a problem that about 60,000 people are having. Firefox needs to fix its TOTALLY BUGGY NEW SOFTWARE!!!
Maybe that works for some people, but not for most. Right-clicking does absolutely nothing. Zilch.
