wrong ID or password when trying to connect to email account
loaded Thunderbird on new laptop and set up account getting error message that ID or password incorrect. I'm able to login to my email account using web browser with ID and password. I have check settings for the AT&T mail server and everything looks correct. Need help what am I missing?

If I read this correctly, you should use OAuth2 as the Authentication method, otherwise you may need to create a "secure mail key", otherwise known as an "app password". This would be different than your regular AT&T logon password. Do you have this?
