since 2 years, the option "send to an email addres" isn't fonctionning, connected to this problem, is de "resize" operation that desappeared. It was so practical, fast and relaible method to proceed.

If you're referring to an add-on resizing image attachments, then check for an add-on update or look for an alternative add-on. https://addons.thunderbird.net/thunderbird/
