I'm not sure what you're trying to tell here. Giving permission for Thunderbird to access your Gmail account is part of the OAuth authentication process. You won't be able to access your account via Thunderbird without giving permission.

For the authentication to work you'll have to allow cookies in Thunderbird. Also see

Can you login to your account via webmail?

Note, when using OAuth authentication, you'll have to use your main Google account password, not an app password you may have created at some point.
