yesterday Firefox browser will not load the google search page https://www.google.com.au/?gws_rd=ssl I get a blank screen.

I have checked the connection to the network using my Mobile data and Home Wifi connection

But when I load the same page in the following browsers I am able to get to the Google search page: Chrome Browser MS Edge browser

Avast Secure browser

Ecosia Browser

Troubleshooting done so far: Deleted all history Cleared the cache deleted bookmarks uninstalled and done a clean install of the Firefox borwser from Google playstore

Issue remains.

The URI indicates that Google is trying to redirect you to a TLS connection. So the browser did an initial handshake with Google, before something broke. Is the date and time on this device set correctly? Do I assume correctly that you navigated to "google[dot]com", rather than "https://google[dot]com" ?

The S7 is a somewhat older device. I'm unaware of what kind of compatibility and support still exists for it. I don't know if that might be at all relevant, in this case. I would think it should still work, although I don't know if that phone will have received the FF update which set it to use HTTPS by default.

This will be fixed by Google shortly.
