heya i know this has come up a lot over the last 10+years as it happens then i find a fix then a year goes by and it happens again so i'm asking because i need to remember how to fix. running latest version (111.0.1) it is NOT fixed by clearing cookies and cache data it is NOT fixed in troubleshooting mode it is NOT fixed by turning off all extensions

it WORKS in brave and edge.

i can get to this link, https://outlook.live.com BUT when clicking on 'sign in' it then goes to the white blank page.

windows 10 pro. i do not use chrome thoughts? thanks in advance

Chosen solution

@jonz4SUSE problem solved. it was iolo... system mechanic ultimate defense which updated it's security and that's what killed it. i had to go in give permission to it again. thank you all.

Did you post this question with Firefox because the System Details shows an empty user agent ?

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose, make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website, data for that website will be saved once again.

You can create a new profile as a quick test to see if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works, you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

heya cor-el i did try all of the above including creating new profiles, and no luck. oh, and i always have (and had) 'Clear history when Firefox closes' ticked so not able to 'forget this site'

if you're using firefox can you get to a sign-in page via outlook.live.com?

also this is an issue on both my laptops. running save version of FF (one is windows 11 though)

thanks for trying... if anything else might work, i'm willing.

Show what your getting when you try the site. What security software are you running? I'm on the site daily with no issues. see screenshot

Did you restore the user agent to its default if you check this on the about:support page ?
