Every time I go to a web site it shows up on my Bookmark/Toolbars. I have to take time to delete each one every day. BTW, this has been a recent development.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Karen

BTW, this is now happening 10-20 times per day or as many websites as I go to.

Thanks,

Karen

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window

Cor-el When I tried that, I pulled up troubleshoot mode and I got this message: "Restart your Firefox in Trouble Shoot Mode? Your extensions, themes, and custom settings will be temporarily disabled. Restart Button or Cancel Button" So I have no choice if I want to use Trouble shoot mode.

Any other ideas? I build up about 10 web sites (some from prior days) every time I go to a new website. So I end up deleting 50 or more/day.

Help.
