Even though I'm on v104, chase.com says "Firefox version not supported". If I reinstall - same thing. Same website on Edge has no problem.

In your Question Deails > More system details your User Agent appears to be modified by something.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:104.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/104.0 Agency/99.8.2487.88

The Agency/99.8.2487.88 is confusing the site and should not be there.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-reset-default-user-agent-firefox

Thank you for that suggestion. It has 2 unfortunate obstacles: 1. about:config has NO items with the word *useragent* - so the reset instructions (delete them) is N/A 2. the useragent item in Troubleshooting just has "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:104.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/104.0" There is no "Agency/99.8.2487.88" that I can find anywhere - so I can get rid of out. 3. my v104 is not in compatibility mode. I'm stuck Thanks

Good theory. Yes, tried earlier - and no effect. (I assume you mean Restart in Troubleshoot Mode...) thank you

Can you post your troubleshooting data ?

You can check the connection settings.

  • Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":
