How to disable firefox update permanently for all domain users.
I have a problem with auto update Firefox. we have a system is working only with earlier version of Firefox (because of JAVA). all the PC connected to join domain. when I disable auto update, this will work only for administrator user (local) or that user (domain user) that I do it for it. If new user open his profile from that PC. Firefox automatically update the version to newest. and from all the profiles updates happens. even administrator.
domain users not allow to install and remove any software but with updates will work fine to them. so we want to disable update permanently to all users and new users when open that PC Thanks for support.

What Firefox version are you using (52 ESR ?) ?
Websites need to use Java Web Start (i.e. send a special XML file as application/x-java-jnlp-file) to launch a Java application in an external standalone window and can no longer use an applet to open a Java application embedded in a web page. Websites that want to use Java need to adapt and make the change to launch a Java application this way.
A Java Web Start JNLP file is basically a XML file that the server sends as application/x-java-jnlp-file and that is opened by the default application for this MIME type (Java Web Start). Java then handles everything on its own, but there is no longer embedding possible like a plugin offers. Java registers this MIME type when you install the Java application.
