Can you post a screenshot of the options you get? Did you install Firefox from the Web or Microsoft Store?

That is the problem, I no longer have the screenshot option after the updates late November. The options I get with right click now are; save page as save page to pocket save page to device select all view page source inspect accessibility properties inspect(Q) Ad Blocker-Best Ad Blocker Karl

Hello,

You may be able to re-enable it with an about:config tweak.

WARNING from the moderator team: Changing Firefox pref from the about:config page can sometimes break Firefox or cause strange behavior. You should only do this if you know what you're doing.

Please read Firefox Advanced Customization and Configuration Options to learn more.

Once in about:config, accept the risks and search for screenshot. Set all settings (obviously except extensions.screenshots.disabled) to true, and restart Firefox. This should enable the screenshot builtin extension.

"Take a Screenshot" has been moved out of the page actions container on the location bar and has become a standalone toolbar button. You can drag this Screenshot button in customize mode from the Customize palette to the toolbar or to the overflow area. You can also use the "Ctrl+Shift+S" keyboard shortcut (Windows/Linux) and Right-click on an empty part of the page and select Take Screenshot.

Make sure that Screenshots isn't disabled.

You can check these prefs on the about:config page.

  • extensions.screenshots.disabled = false
  • screenshots.browser.component.enabled = false

Taking screenshots can also be disabled via a policy (see about:policies).

Thanks, That works in a normal window but not in a print window like it use to before the updates. Karl
