Firefox tabs creating tabs on windows taskbar

I'm having a weird issue with Firefox today. When I open a tab it seems to open windows tabs even though everything is containing in a single firefox window.

A simple restart didn't fix it & when I have many tabs open it quickly becomes sensory overload.

Fixed: there is a setting which says "Show tab preview in taskbar"

Make sure that isn't selected.
