Hi, for some reason when i start to type a subject into the Firefox search bar, it goes into the top search bar and a drop down list appears with some of the links i have used before that start with the first letter,i.e if i start to type Orange a drop down list appears with all suggestions starting with O ,its doing my head in...have attached screenshots,thanks for any help .

Chosen solution

You can turn it off by going to about:config and switching browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false.

Wow,that sorted it many thanks...cannot figure out why it just started happening,have not changed any settings unless a Fire update changed it !!
