exporting vcard from icloud error

I am trying to export my contacts to a vcard on iCloud. It will do one contact but if I select ALL it give me an error it cannot do. Is there a setting in Firefox that I need to set to do this? I even tried to turn off Norton and all add ons.

Launch the contacts app on 

   your Mac.

Click on file in the menu bar at the 

    top of the screen.

Click Export. click on Contacts Archive. name the save file,choose where 

    you'd like to save, and click

i found a contact was deleted on our phones (share contacts icloud with my husband) was still on the cloud. Once I deleted that contact, the export worked.
