To see what Firefox version you're on :

Please go to 3 bar menu => Help (at the bottom, next to the question mark in a circle), then click on "About Firefox" - there you will see the version you are on right now.

Further it must be activated.

I'm not sure what you mean - I'm a little worried about where you say "I should install add-ons" ......

To me that sounds like someone or something wants you to install add-ons ..... (?)

Could you elaborate a little, please  ?
