Even after typing in the right password, I could not sign into firefox community support. Why did this happen?

Posted

I created a new firefox community account. Received the link to confirm email and I did. But when I tried to sign in, even after typing in the right password, I could not sign into firefox community. Why did this happen? I resetted the password now and its succesful. But why couldn't I sign in before?

I asked the question I wanted to ask as a different question and its ok. But any idea as to why the right password did not get accepted? If my memory is correct, when I resetted the password by clicking the forgot password link, the new password I created is the same as the old one that didn't work and now it works perfectly.

Hello benoymaharajas ,

If you had to reset the password in order to sign in succesfully, there most likely was something wrong with it the first time.

But you're here now and you must be here because you wanted to post a question, so : ask away .....
