To restore the jumplist, do the following:

  1. Enter about:config in the Firefox address bar
  2. Set the browser.taskbar.lists.enabled boolean to true
  3. Set the browser.taskbar.lists.tasks.enabled boolnea to true

This should fix it.

Hi, running a beta anything can happen : Firefox 61.0b14

You say desktop as a keyword problem but your not mentioning where this is from the Firefox Icon in the Taskbar ? If so please delete that after shutting Firefox down. Find Firefox, exe and pin a new copy to the Taskbar.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
