Log in information still being saved in web form after deleting all Saved Logins from the Forms & Passwords menu
As described in Question.
Chosen solution
That would be the form filler built into Firefox. Click in the field, enter a character or two and STOP ! Using the arrow keys, highlight an unwanted entry. Then press Delete (Mac=Shift Delete). Repeat as needed.

Are you saying you don't want Firefox to store your passwords?
Type about:preferences#security<enter> in the address bar. Look under Logins,
Note: For Firefox 56+ its; about:preferences#privacy Look under Forms & Passwords +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Turn on/off Remember Logins. To check the passwords you have listed, press Saved Logins.
I have done that already. The username is still showing up for a web login page.
Are you using any password add-ons/programs?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
I don't have any password add-ons or programs.
It is still there starting in Safe Mode.
It is a log in page that is only accessible when connected to my employer VPN.
