"Printing Bug in Firefox Only". OK in Internet Explorer. (1) Down load 'AOL Mail' letter (2) Issue Print command either buy [a] clicking AOL print Icon, [b] Clicking File/Print, [c] Open 'Foxfire Menu'/Print (3) On Pop up menu click OK. A Save File Menu comes up (Instead of Printing) and I can save file, but (a) 'cancel' returns to Print or (b) 'Save' saves file and returns to Print. This then loops endlessly. If I go to Internet Explorer I have no problem printing. This problem is new to me as I have been using Firefox 3-4 yrs (with upgrades).

Chosen solution

1) Print to file box is unchecked. 2)Printer works fine with Internet Explorer Browser HOWEVER I just noticed that on the Printer Menu the selected printer has changed from my 'HP Photosmart Plus B210' to the Default 'MS XPS Document Writer. Going back to my original printer solves the problem. You were right on #2 "Printer Change" Thanks!!

Hi CFKient, could you check for two things:

(1) In the Print dialog, is there a checkbox in the "Print to file" box? If so, uncheck that, since those files are usually not in a usable format.

(2) Did your printer change from a regular printer to a virtual printer that creates a file, such as a PDF printer? Normally Firefox will use the same printer over and over, but it's worth a quick glance just in case.
