Hi, you can try this : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 60.0.1 with a Full Version Installer

Thanks for trying to help me. I followed these steps, but it didn't make any difference. As soon as the new/replaced version of Firefox 60.0.1 loaded, I went to Facebook and experienced the same problem.

There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

If you are running one of the above please update and close Firefox from the 3Bar Menu and use Exit and restart.

If issues please go to the Community Forum of the program and look for instances/discussion of the issue and or post .

Thank you. I'm not using any of those. I'm using AVG. The problem is just Facebook, and no other sites seem to be having a problem in Firefox.
