Will scrolling through tabs using the mouse wheel be implemented?

There was a great add-on Tab Wheel Scroll, but after update v57 you have not provided the tools for the developer to update it, and clicking on (my vertical) tabs seems just ridiculous now. Please implement this or provide the developer with the means to do it.

Hi there!

With the update to Firefox Quantum, some add-ons may have stopped working.

The best way to make sure your favourite add-ons are available on Firefox Quantum is to contact the developers and ask them to work on their updated version.

Apologies for the (temporarily) rough ride and thank you for using Firefox!

Yeah, the developer can't do that, because you don't provide the means (tools or whatever) to do that. This is on you.

You are correct, Queelis. It's up to Mozilla to add the necessary APIs. Below is the reply from the Tab Wheel Scroll developer.

by Matt H (Developer) Unfortunately, it is not possible to support Firefox 57. Mozilla has refused to add the necessary replacement APIs for Web Extensions.

Even Vivaldi supports this functionality natively.
