Download old version of Firefox

Is there a link to download an older version of Firefox. 55 blocks a feature I use and I need to remove it. Rather get an installer from Mozilla than a third party. If I can't, I will find a different browser to use.

That worked, but decided on a different browser.

What feature does 55 block? Perhaps the ESR build of Firefox will help if its a plug-in like Silverlight or Java.

Generally, its not recommended to downgrade to an older version as it contains security bugs and vulnerabilities. For curiosity, how old of a version do you require?

It block the playing of locally save .swf files. FF54 or the latest version of.

Do you want to try this? I saw it on Reddit and since you are disabling a security-related protection, please use with care:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste plug*ht and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the plugins.http_https_only preference to switch the value from true to false

Aww ....... why  ? Anything we can do to change your mind  ?

Yeah, what ever you are doing with FF57, stop completely.

With FF57, FF just becomes Chrome and Edge with a different rendering engine that I am in no way impress by.

Unfortunately there is nothing that we, volunteer contributors on this support forum, can do about it ....... But maybe you can, by submitting feedback here :

Would you  ?

Have you spent much time using the "Nightly" version of Firefox 57? If you have specific issues with that version, please start a new question directed toward the problems you're encountering. To read other people's impressions and questions, you can skim through: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/

I am not going to use something that is worse than the product you have now. I am not going to use it, because I need Classic Theme Restorer to unfuck the UI that Mozilla has decided to fuck. And since they have no plans to support those kind of add ons, they can go fuck themselves.

I would, but software companies have long ago stop listening to power users for the mouth breathers that couldnt tell you the difference between File Explorer and Internet Explorer

you find the "good" long-time-version here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/
