Make active tab more visible
Dear Friends, how can I make active tab more visible as in Firefox 38? It seems flat in the newest version. The first screenshot is made of my current browser, the second one is what I want. Maybe there is any "retro" theme? Thank you.

Hmm, I don't know why the gray upper line is missing from your navigation toolbar and active tab. Does this occur with other lightweight themes?
The curved edges are drawn with background images, so it's a little complicated to modify them.

This gray line is missing with every theme I used. Curved edges are not so important for me, but lack of the line and lack of semi-opacity on the active tab are worse. I tried to modify UserChrome.css as in different manuals but with no effect.
It looks that you either have an extension that isn't working properly or you have code in userChrome.css that isn't compatible with the current release.
How does it look when you remove userChrome.css if you currently use this file?
Can you post a list of your installed extensions in case userChrome.css isn't causing issues?

I have deleted userChrome.css and disabled all addons (please find a list attached) and restarted the browser. I just wonder if it is only me with the issue. May I ask if you have this gray border line on tabs (if you use version 54)? Thank you.
How does it look without the lightweight theme?
Does it look better if you use one of the builtin compact themes?
I have used a standart theme and now the active tab is lighter. What is more, I have just fully reinstalled the browser but it looks the same as before.
This is what I have in Firefox 55 with two sample lightweight themes on Windows 7. The "fog" I mentioned is quite apparent with a dark background color but harder to see on a lighter one, so the gray edge is critical.
Firefox looks somewhat different on Windows 10, but it's a little hard to compare at the detailed level when you only have one or the other...
Thank you all, it seems it is a problem only in my browser because tabs in Thunderbird look as they must look. I have installed Classic Theme Restorer and added a semi-opacity to an active tab, and it is better now.
