How can I restore accidentally closed browser windows at the exact same position between the other opened windows?
I always have several windows open and sometimes I inadvertently close one of the windows. I want to open this window again at the exact same position between the windows. I can't figure out how to do this.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not giving up just yet and giving it one more shot :
Would you try this add-on and maybe, just maybe, this one will do
the trick :
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/session-manager/

Hi !
Don't know if it will do the trick, but maybe you'd like to give this add-on a try :
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-mix-plus/
You can get that last tab back by clicking : Ctrl + Shift + T
and : 3-bar menu => History => Restore Closed Tabs
But those methods will not put the tab back in the exact place where you last had it, I'm afraid.
Thank you, but this doesn't solve my problem. I need to re-position the browser windows.

My mistake : I was thinking 'Tabs', when you specifically mentioned 'Windows' - sorry !
Trying to 'make up' :
Would you please take a look at the article :
Restore previous session - Configure when Firefox shows your most recent tabs and windows
Any good ?
Thank you, but this doesn't solve my problem. Maybe re-positioning the windows is not an option. I'll just have to close all windows and start all over, if I want the windows to be in a certain order.
