I reset firefox the other day and that's when this seems to have started. I've checked for malware and viruses but my computer is clean. The longer the computer stays on, the larger the two processes seem to get.

hi Greg181, firefox started moving to a multiprocess architecture recently - separating the core browser from web content, so it is normal that you see more than one firefox.exe process running. https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2016/08/02/whats-next-for-multi-process-firefox/
