Test Pilot Activity Stream does not work

I use Firefox 50.0b6. After installing the Activity Stream of the Test Pilot, the New Tab remained the normal Ffox new tab without any change. What might be the reason? Could the Tab Mix Plus add-on have any influence? I wouldn't like the disable it, if possible. Any advice would be appreciated.

It might well be the case that the add-on that you are using is confusing things so you may want to disable it to try out the Test Pilot experiments.

Also, please be aware that these are experiments, and like with experiments in the lab, things can be a little experimental. They may require a bit more fine turning before being included within Firefox.
