Where can I find previous versions of Firefox to download. With each update since 42.xx I have continually lost necessary functionability - must go back.

Running W7 64. Firefox 48.0.2 I have been using FF since its original inception and it has been great up until 42.xx or so. I run my real estate business using FF but with each successive update I have lost functionality (like unsigned addons) that inhibit its usefulness. I don't like Opera or chrome so looks like my only option is to go back to a more useful version - unless some has a better solution for me. Thanks, David.

Actually if you must use a older version the best option is to use Firefox 45.0 ESR in order to have most of the security updates that goes in Release and not be vulnerable if using versions like Firefox 46.0 or 42.0

Firefox 45.4.0esr is basically the Firefox 45.0 Release but supported with security updates.

Warning: It is strongly recommended that you do not use old versions of Firefox because they may contain security or privacy issues.
Use at your own risk!

All versions of Firefox are archived and available for download from the Mozilla FTP servers.

I am still using v46 because I have add-ons I don't want to lose.

@Wesley Branton: Thank you for the link. I appreciate your warning but v48 is simply unusable for my needs. I do have strong security software and use a VPN 100% so hopefully I will be fairly safe.

@FredMcD: Thanks. v46 is probably better than going back to v42. Good advice.

Glad to help. Safe Surfing.

Many things that have been lost might be found here. Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.

@james Can I simply download 45.4.esr and then install it? Or do I need to uninstall 49.0.1 first? Just want to make sure that I don't lose current bookmarks and other settings. Thanks, David PS: What does "esr" mean/stand for? Understand your "supported with updates", Curious what the acronym is.

ESR = Extended Support Release

Shouldn't make a difference whether you uninstall 49.0.1 first or just install ESR over 49.0.1 . Firefox user data isn't removed when Firefox gets uninstalled.

Thank you the-edmeister. And thanks to everyone that so graciously responded to my questions. Sharing your great knowledge with those of us that are less computer knowledgeable is most appreciated and humbling. Thanks to all! I will wrap this up after I finish implementing your collective recommendations.
