Well you managed to post a question from Firefox in the end.

Are you able to follow these instructions and post two or three Crash IDs, post them from an alternative browser if it is easier.

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Sorry you need to give people time to answer. I am off to a real money paying job now. I think you may have tried

about crashes

or some variation of that instead of

about:crashes

Note it is all small letters - fancy name is lower case. Do not use the Shift or Caps Lock key. There is no space between the words but there is a colon - the two dots one on top of the another.

Not every crash report is automatically submitted. Click on an un-submitted report to send it to the Crash server. Then when that reported 'gets' the bp- added to it, give us that Crash ID string (letters & numbers).

Hi   Yorri   !
Is Firefox open,   but just not responding to anything you try  ?
If that's the case,   you may be facing a   hang   and not a crash.
Greetings,

The screen goes all white with an exclamation mark in it or everything freezes including shut down icons. Firefox takes about 4 mins to load when I first open it.

Hi again Yoriri, Did you manage to get the details from about::crashes

If you do see crash IDs that start with bp- please paste some of those in to your next reply. If they were not there last time you checked they may now have appeared. if there are no submitted crash reports begining with bp- at least try to capture a screenshot of what you do see. Then attach the screenshot using the button uncer where you type that says Add images: [Browse... ]

I am not sure I recognise the description of going white with an exclamation mark. I doubt you can get a screenshot of that but can you try to describe it in more detail please. Is it the crash reporter ?

The image above may not be exactly what the current crash reporter looks like, but it will have similar content and wording. Is that what you sometimes see ?

Please also try starting Firefox in its safe mode, and with you disabling all the plugins, by setting them to never activate..

Does that help at all ?

Also have a look at these articles

Sorry if we are not being very helpful. I am afraid I am not yet sure what you are seeing, and so I am not able to give the best advice.

OK those are both FlashPlayer crashes.

Can you try as i suggested in an earlier post and use Firefox in its safemode and with all plugins including FlashPlayer disabled. With look it will not then crash.

If it does crash when you do that try to get the crash reports for the new crashes see if thy help any more.

Are you trying to deliberatly use FlashPlayer ? or is it just in use for adverts and video clips that you do not really need ?

Flash player crashes are not always too easy to resolve.it may turn out it is not possible to watch some videos on certain sites without problems. Or there may be things that may help if changed.

I note a module

HookTitle.dll

I will try to look that up. No idea what it is or whether it is a problem. And I note you must use some Kaspersky software

I am trying to play online game. I don't really know what a flash player is or what it does. I am not watching any videos. Also I keep getting a pop up box with something about plugins. But I am not a tech and have no idea what is what. All I want to do is enjoy my game. So frustrating. The guys who I play game with said use Firefox because I was getting similar problems with IE. My game used to load in Chrome. But now in Chrome its useless. I was really hoping that Firefox was the answer to my problems.
