History in rel 47.0: forward/back buttons has bug, usually repeats page and drops neighbor.
I'm looking at competition results which are spread over many web pages. To make it easier to see the results I set up Firefox to display each page in sequence, so I could use the forward and back buttons to easily keep track of the results.
Once I went beyond 6 or 8 web pages in my list Firefox would arbitrarily repeat one page and drop the page I originally set up in that position. Once the error occurred, Firefox never corrected its problem.
The error occurred regularly, but not every time I set up the pages to be displayed. Over the course of the weekend competition, every page sequence eventually was messed up even if all was OK the first couple of time I went through the list.
I believe it happened when I only used 1 tab, but I know it happened every time I had two tabs active, one for the singles events, and one for the doubles. Eventually I gave up and went to Internet Explorer.
Are there any work arounds for this problem?

If there are only a few pages then you can consider to open them in individual tabs. Then you can navigate to the next or previous tab to go to a specific page and do not have a problem if web pages use JavaScript XHR to load content or otherwise have a form with POST data. You can check for issues caused by an installed and enabled extension.
