Why are Moz suppt search results removed from the page-back sequence?

I search a Moz Suppt topic and read one item. On page-back the results page is missing (removed from the sequence), requiring the search to be repeated.

I avoid this by opening the link in a new tab/window.

Elsewhere, I noticed Mozilla page-links defaulting to "open in new tab".
