Since FF 47 downloaded the app "my little forum" has been having issues with its indexing. A clk on topic causes the rtn to questions to index to a previous pg.
Using FF 47 go to http://www.reedercustomguns.com and click on Ask Reeder Custom Guns. This forum is created with "My Little Forum". If you click on "return to messages"; or post a question, or Reply, the return to the original page no longer works. It will throw you back one page. It is progressive in that each time you do a return it will through to the page previous to the previous page: i.e. on page 1 make a post, after question is posted you are put onto page 2 instead of back on page 1. I have tried EDGE, IE11, Chrome and all of these work by returning to page 1 when the above scenario is executed so the problem appears to be in FF. I have tried all of the recommended issue resolutions I could find that were even remotely connected to this one. NO LUCK. Reset, purging history, turning off plugins etc. just has not worked. I know of several other forums that use this app that are having the same problem so I believe it is something in FF. I am not a programmer so have no idea where to start. I am a hardware designer in electronics since 1965 so have some idea of how computers work but have tried everything I know to do. HELP PLEASE (Everyone should know their limitations and I have reached mine as far as this goes...LOL) Thank you for any help you can render.

I'm not sure I understand this, or maybe I need to make a post to see the effect.
On the first page of the index, if I read one message and then click Return to Messages, I am returned to the top of the first page of the index. That seems normal.
If instead of returning right away, I stay in the thread and read a second and third message, then click Return to Messages, I am returned to the top of the first page of the index. Seems to work.
Clicked the Next Page button, so this is the second page of the index.
Clicked into a message and then Return to Messages and all is fine. Etc.
But it could be my profile has some special setting or add-on that allows this. In another thread where a website was acting strangely, a clean profile failed: Back to Query link missing in Firefox 47.
I have heard from several readers on that forum that they have the same problem. Check the threads of Larry Fry to see what we have done so far. The webmaster is Hobbit. He also has found this problem reported by several other users of "My Little Forum"..... I am not sure what to do at this point. If I knew how to export my Bookmarks to a file and then import it, I would uninstall FF and then reinstall and import my BM from that stored file..... Can this be done with FF?
If a support administrator would like to review my FF settings etc. please let me know and I will share whatever information is required.
I can reproduce the problem in a new profile. As far as I can tell, Firefox sends the identical information to the server: same referring page address, same cookies (of course, the session cookie itself and last visit time are different), on both my old profile and the new profile. That's why it's so puzzling that the server responds with a different page.
I don't see any progress toward a fix over on the My Little Forum forum, but it was just reported yesterday: http://mylittleforum.net/forum/index.php?mode=thread&id=8967
(This forum is open source, but trying to read PHP makes me soooo tired.)
The return to main page works for me, but the return to messages link takes me to a different set of messages than what I started from. Unless I'm not understand the problem, I'm not familiar with the site or it's software, but the behavior does make more sense in Edge.
That IS the problem. Return to main page will always work if nothing else does. When you click on Return to Messages you are taken back to the page previous to the one you started from. (if that makes sense). jscher2000 was able to replicate it in a new profile. Am not sure if he got the forum to operate correctly from an old profile? I am pinging the MLF forum but have not seen anything yet.
