When I go into Faebook in Firefox and try to play a video, it keeps telling me I need to download Adobe Flash Player (even though it's already downloaded and works on Internet Explorer).

IE on Windows 7 uses a ActiveX version of Flash Player. Web browsers like Firefox uses npapi plugins.

https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html Ignore the message on top and download the Firefox and Netscape Plug-In version.

Make sure Firefox is closed when you install Flash Player.
