Latest update crashes when previous version did not.
Ever since Firefox update to 46.0.1, it's crashing on a daily basis, 2-3 times. Never had this with the previous version, so may need to look into what went wrong in this version.

Please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
- Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
- Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.
Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.
(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)
More information and further troubleshooting steps can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) article.
If you have trouble opening the browser,
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
Then get the crash reports (see above).
I don't have issues opening the browser. It just randomly crashes.
And no offenses meant, but I'm a PC tech that has done a lot of coding for programs, and web software, so please, no need for the noob talk. ;)
The list is empty, as usually the crash happens as doing something, and the window gets closed, before can tell it to submit report.
Next crash, I'll try to catch it, to submit, then copy the ID for you.

If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:
- see if there are updates for your graphics drivers

- disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

Funny how this could be an issue now, and not before, especially, since barely go to any sites with flash now, when used to a lot, before.
Flash is all over the place. Even if you can't see it. This is not a cure, but should let the web page load without crashing.
Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it
Sorry, but I know the sites I go to, and they don't have flash. The sites that would have it, would normally be opened in another browser, as FF is my primary for working, and none of my sites and other sites I work on, use it. Thankfully. LOL
Now, maybe some here, but as can see, I'm not very active here, unless interested in something that needs work.
