The home button has stopped working.

The home button has stopped working.

Chosen solution

What is the current setting of the home page?

You can drag the globe/padlock at the left end of the location/address bar to the toolbar Home button to set a single page as the home page.

You can also check the browser.startup.homepage pref directly on the about:config page.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

This makes no difference. Still no response from the "home" button.
