When I logon to Firefox I get a big blue sign that dims the logon and wants me to sign up for Windows 10. Quite annoying. Does not appear in Internet Explorer logon. I had previously download Windows 10 but decided not to install. I deleted update KB3035583 and that was suppose to help. Did not change logon message from Windows 10

Chosen solution

Changed home page from www.msn and display did not come up on log in. I still want to use msn as home page but will just live with it til it goes away or use IE when I don't want to delete it...Thanks for the quick reply.

I suspect that message is from the web page that is displaying, either your home page or a page Firefox is re-opening from your previous session. Maybe avoid that page?

A sort of complicated workaround would be to lie to MSN by telling it you run Windows 10. One way to do that is to use an extension to set a site-specific "user agent" string.

You could use:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0

But that might be more trouble than it's worth...

I agree. Would be more trouble than it is worth. It will go away soon and I will live with it til then. Very simple to click on X and remove. Thanks
