Tab Mix Plus replaces Firefox opening page
I changed my computer few days ago and everything was pretty much fine, until few hours ago I found out that instead of my homepage being the opening page in Firefox, it was replaced with http://www.istartsurf.com/?type=sc&ts=1439814415&z=70292a08e6d1d7ebbfb6bf3g8zec2tebag8z5c2o6e&from=tugs&uid=ST1000DM003-1ER162_Z4Y7AB8D and gives in Options Tab Mix Plus.
I don't know how or why that happened, but it gives me no other options than that link, homepage is still the same, but it changes to the given link instead of google that is my homepage.
Anyone got clues how to fix this?

And before anyone asks, yes I tried it without Add-Ons. It came back after I returned Tab Mix Plus.
Hi, please try working through How to remove iStartSurf.com virus (Removal Guide) by Malware Tips. The article is aimed at Win 7/8 so you may need to make modifications to suit Win 10.
Note that not all programs will detect all malware, so you may need to run several or all of them.
After removal you may need to reset your home page etc., which you can do by running SearchReset.

Does SearchReset keep iStartSurf from infecting my computer again?
Are there other options than iStartSurf for causing this? There's no new programs I haven't knowingly loaded and even less those mentioned on the list of removable, so either the programs have been hidden somehow or it's something else.
Hi, SearchReset is just a convenient way of changing your settings like home page back to default, it has no anti-virus properties.
You can try disabling Tab Mix Plus, but iStartSurf is a browser hijacker which you need to remove - did you run all the virus removal programs in the article I linked to?
